After the successful setup of your Tp-link Extender, if you need to make any changes, you have to log in to the Tp-link Extender admin page. Sometimes, users might face difficulty accessing the tp link log in page. It happens because they try to access the log-in page using the default URL tplinkrepeater.net or the default IP 192.168.0.254, which is incorrect. Once the extender gets connected to the home router, the router assigns an IP address to the Tp-link Extender. You need to find that IP address in order to access the Tp-link Login page. 

Below, we mentioned the steps to access the log-in page in the case of a brand new extender and an old extender (which is already connected).

1. To begin, open any web browser from your linked device that is connected to the extender.
2. Now type www.tplinkrepeater.net or 192.168.0.254 into the address box and hit enter.
3. The login screen will then display, where you may enter your username and password.
4. After that, select login. After that, the Status page will appear.
5. If your browser displays a menu symbol, choose it. After that, the extender menu displays.
6. Click or press the menu symbol if it appears in your browser.
7. Finally, go to Settings to see and change the extender’s settings.

How do you find the IP address of an extender connected to a router?

1. To begin, go to the Control Panel and enter your search term in the search field, then click on the Control Panel icon.
2. Then, under Network and Internet, click View network status and tasks.
3. Now click on the name of your Wi-Fi network, which should appear next to Connections.
4. A new window will open, and you should click on Details.
5. Finally, under IPv4 Default Gateway, you’ll find your public IP address.
6. Using this IP, you can log in to your router page and find the IP of your Tp-link extender under the connected device.
