1. PLACEMENT

Note: – Try to spot it into an open location for best range.

2. SETUP

Before setting up your TP-Link Extender, you have known a few things.

  • IP Address
  • SSID
  • Password

For setup your TP-Link Extender. Essentially there are two options of doing.

1. SET UP TP-LINK EXTENDER WITHOUT WPS BUTTON

  •  Firstly, plug-in the TP-Link Extender into an electrical outlet and connect it with your PC via Ethernet cable.
  • Then, open your internet browser and visit TPlinkrepeater.net.
  • Select Quick Setup > Region and then click on Next.
  • After this, TP-Link Extender had done scanning your Network select your Wi-Fi network and click next.
  • At last, enter the Password and select copy from main router and click next.

 

 SETUP WITH WPS BUTTON

  • Firstly, plug in the TP-Link Extender in the Electrical outlet nearer to your router.
  • Then, press the WPS button on the back of the router. After the WPS Led starts flickering, press the WPS button on your Extender.
  • Just wait for some time as the TP-Link Extender will automatically configure to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Then check whether the connection is working or not.
