1. Firstly, The RE light as the indication in the WPS process: the RE LED should change from “blinking” to “solid on”. Which implies that the WPS connection is completed. Moreover, the signal LED light will be on if the connection is successful
2. The Signal lights will provide you the accurate details that whether you have configured your Range Extender successfully. Once the range extender has connected to the router. However, The Signal light will be solid “on” (what color it is or how many signal bars there is no matter).
The color or number of signal lights specifies the signal strength that RE gets from the main router. Which is just used to assist you to choose the best area for your RE.
