- Connect your computer to the tplink repeater’s default SSID.
- Open an internet browser and navigate to the tplinkextender.net login page.
- After clicking the login button, enter your default username and password for tplinkrepeater.net.
- This will provide you with tplinkextender net admin access so you can extend your home network.
- Select the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks and enter the wifi password for your home router.
- Click “Save” to complete the configuration.

The WPS button can be used to set up the TP-Link extender. Follow these simple steps to set up a TP-Link extender.
- After putting the TP-Link repeater and your current router in the right place, find the WPS button on both.
- The WPS button needs to be pressed on both the tplink extender and the router.
- The tplink extender’s WiFi light will stay steady. It will take about a minute or two.
- The tplink repeater will start to pick up the router’s wifi settings.
