The initial step is to connect a PC to a TP-Link router by cable or through a wireless network. It is approved to configure it by a wired connection and log into the router’s web-based utility.

Choose the Wireless->Wireless Settings on the left side menu to open the wireless setting page.

Then, To save your settings, click Save.
Note: After clicking on the save button, you will see a tip (red line) at the bottom of the page. But there is no requirement for rebooting here and we will reboot the router at the end of the configurations.

The 3rd step is to select Wireless->Wireless Security on the left side menu. It’s recommended to use WPA/WPA2 Personal (Recommended).

Then, click the save button to save the settings.

To reboot the router click here at the bottom of the page; or you can go to system tools, reboot to reboot the router to make all settings take effect.
However, The web-based management page of TP-Link routers is a built-in internal web server that does not need internet access. It does however require your device to be connected to the TP-Link router.

1. Firstly select your connection type (Wired or Wireless)
Step1a: If Wireless, connect to your TP-Link wireless network. Find the wireless network (named TP-LINK_xxxxxx by default which is printed on the label of the router) from the Wi-Fi list on your device and connect it with the wireless password (the default password is printed on the router’s label as well).
Step1b: However, if Wired connects your Ethernet cable to one of the ports on the back of your TP-Link router.

Then, open a web browser for example Safari, Google Chrome, or Internet Explorer). In the address bar, type http://tplinkwifi.net.

Moreover, the default access address differs by model. Please find it on the bottom label of the product.
Step 3
1. After that, type the username and password on the login page. The default username and password For TP-Link devices are admin. Then, enter your own username and password instead of admin if you already changed it.
2. When you log into the web-based Utility (Management Page), then you can change the settings of your router, such as creating a new wireless password, etc.
